Full steam ahead: setting the course for Q3
Last week Algorithma wrapped up an amazing quarterly review, on a BOAT! The whole team from Stockholm and Gothenburg gathered to chart the course for Q3 and the rest of the year, setting our BHAGS (Big hairy audacious goals), refining our strategies, and welcoming some new members to the crew.
We're are really happy that our team is growing! We introduced several talented new employees who bring diverse expertise and fresh perspectives to the table. Their arrival during the second half of this year strengthens our capabilities and allows us to tackle even more complex AI challenges for our clients. As we are soon to be 19 people in the team - stay tuned for individual introductions of our newest team members in the coming months!
We are bubbling with excitement about some of our big plans for the rest of the year. Not only have we defined some ambitious goals that will continue driving our company forward, but our CEO Jens Ekberg seems to be cooking up some truly unique ideas! Hopefully we will be able to share more with you all in the months to come.
To celebrate having the entire team in the same space Kristofer Kaltea and Frida Holzhausen planned the first edition of our Algorithma Experience. This time the destination was Victorian Steampunk Lab where the whole team got to put on some professional white coats and brew some various concoctions. However, if there were truly spider eyes in the drinks or not, we will not tell you. 🤫
As any good team building exercise must include some competition we also took the opportunity to test the team's knowledge of both Management and Data Science. You might be delighted to know that our all powerful CEO won both quizzes with quite a margin (the rest of the team, however, was less delighted).
The evening concluded with dinner at Clarion Hotel Draken with a gorgeous view of the midsummer sunset over Gothenburg. All in all it was a day filled with inspiration, fun, and connections! Now summer vacations are approaching and then we will be ready to tackle new challenges and properly introduce our new team members. We look forward to continuing to share our journey with you!
