Emely Wiegand

Originally from Germany, Emely studied Theoretical Physics before moving to Sweden to pursue a PhD at Chalmers University of Technology, specializing in Quantum Physics. Her research centered on the interaction of superconducting quantum bits with microwaves, a technology essential for the development of quantum computers.

After completing her PhD, she transitioned into industry as a Data Scientist and Machine Learning Engineer, where she applies her expertise to solve complex challenges.

Outside of work, Emely enjoys singing in a choir and engaging in creative activities like drawing and painting. A significant portion of her leisure time is dedicated to video games. Additionally, she has a deep affection for animals, particularly birds and whales.
