Johan Hallberg Szabadváry
Johan is a mathematician whose interests include conformal prediction, optimization, dynamical systems and complex analysis. He is currently a data scientist at Algorithma, and an industrial PhD student in computational mathematics at Stockholm university, where his research, broadly speaking, revolves around uncertainty quantification and game-theoretic probability.
Johans master thesis, written at Ericsson, deals with Monte Carlo methods for mobile network optimization, and was awarded Stockholm Mathematics Centre Prize for Excellent Master Theses.
Apart from his mathematical endeavours, Johan is an actor and musician. Outside of work, he has a keen interest in philosophy, history, and nature. Much of his free time is spent reading and gardening. Johan lives with his wife in Ljungskile, Sweden.
