Simon Althoff

Simon is one of Algorithma’s data scientist and holds a MSc in Engineering Mathematics from Lund University. He has been with Algorithma since writing his Master thesis, Conform with the wind, processing short-term ensemble forecasts with conformal based methods for probabilistic wind-speed forecasting, at the company in 2023.

One of Simon's notable achievements is the publication of a scientific article during his master's thesis. Accepted at the 12th Symposium on Conformal and Probabilistic Prediction, it was a great way to kick start his career.

Outside work Simon is typically on some forest or mountain trail. Running, cycling, hiking, sleeping or snowboarding, who knows? Maybe his girlfriend who sometimes tags along.
