Meet the team: Viktor Ekberg - A dynamic engineer thriving on AI and emerging technologies

We’re thrilled to welcome Viktor Ekberg to the Algorithma team! As an engineer at heart with Master’s degrees in Industrial Engineering & Management and Strategy & Control, Viktor began his career as a strategy consultant, where he developed a strong foundation in analyzing and solving complex business challenges. He quickly found himself thriving while working on transformational IT projects, building innovative products and services leveraging big data sets.

Later, Viktor jumped into the fast-paced world of startups and scaleups, working in digital entertainment—a field he’s always been passionate about. It was an exciting time where he learned a lot about working in high-growth environments and using data to make a big impact. Eventually, his growing interest in AI and the opportunity to work with the amazing team at Algorithma brought him to his current role. He’s now helping clients tap into the power of machine learning and AI to innovate and grow.

Viktor’s interest in AI comes naturally from his curiosity about new technology. He’s always been an early adopter and loves seeing how quickly AI has evolved into something that’s reshaping entire industries.

One of Viktor’s proudest career moments was creating and launching a business management system that now serves over a million paying customers every year. Impressively, the system worked perfectly from day one and has been running smoothly ever since—a testament to his commitment to getting things right.

For Viktor, staying curious is key to thriving in a fast-moving field like AI. He’s a big believer in reading as much as possible and having open discussions with friends and colleagues to explore new perspectives. To him, curiosity isn’t just important—it’s essential.

Outside of work, Viktor enjoys golfing and gaming, two hobbies he’s been passionate about for years. While he might not be as skilled as he once was, he still has fun with both and enjoys the chance to unwind and reconnect with things he loves..

Viktor’s adaptability, curiosity, and team-focused mindset make him a perfect fit for Algorithma. He’s excited to bring these qualities to client projects and help foster a positive and innovative environment.
