Marcus Banér

Marcus holds a MSc in Complex Adaptive Systems and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology. His Master's thesis leveraged Transformer models to improve predictions of proxy spreads for financial instruments, a testament to his passion for solving real-world problems with advanced AI techniques.

At Algorithma, Marcus applies his expertise as a data scientist, bridging the gap between technology and business. Prior to joining Algorithma, Marcus worked in management consulting, where he cultivated his interest in aligning AI solutions with strategic business objectives.

Outside of work, Marcus enjoys traveling with friends, skateboarding, surfing, and spending his downtime playing guitar.
