Prithu Banerjee

Prithu has a B.Tech in Engineering, from West Bengal University of Technology in Kolkata. In 2009 he moved to Sweden to do a MSc in Finance at Gothenburg University and decided to move to the country permanently when he graduated.

Before coming to Algorithma, he held the role of CEO at Crepido for several years where he is proud to have helped improve both the culture and the profitability of the company.

Outside of work, Prithu is passionate about entrepreneurship and diversity. Together with his wife, he runs Mia Events, a company that promotes talents in Sweden through vibrant Indian-themed public events. They also support Hand in Hand Sweden, which empowers women entrepreneurs in developing countries. Recently, Prithu has taken up golf and is looking forward to finding a golf buddy to share the greens with.
